Extremely friendly, very tasty fish rolls .... In the pandemic, where everything closed a big piece of normalcy. It is good for the soul, you are happy about such little things ... even if it's just a delicious fish sandwich.

Shortly before closing time, a spontaneous detour from a walk to Matos fish shop. We took a mixed bag of incense to take home. What can I say the fish was phenomenal. The sherry matjes is also extremely tasty.

This fish shop is always worth a visit! Fresh fish rolls with smoked salmon or trout with sensational honey mustard sauce or herring with onions, lettuce and cress sprouts invite you. With freshly tapped beer! Thanks Mato! Until next time. The Franconian

Mato offers absolutely delicious fish rolls. With sprouts, onions, sauce, a big good roll and a nice portion of fish. There is also good table wine, beer, etc. Simply really good :-) When Mato is allowed to return, the restaurant area with a table, 2 seats and 2 standing places will be open again :-) Then there will be nice seats in the front garden at the fence with a fantastic view of the lake. Highly recommended.

Super fish! The third time I came from Ingolstadt especially for the fish rolls and would do it again anytime. The price is absolutely justified. Would also pay € 10 for a roll. The look of the delicacies just fits. I don't understand those bean counters who expect cheap discount prices. Great store, great man! #appreciation

The fish rolls used to be really well filled, but now you mainly get salad and sprouts and only a fairly small piece of fish. Therefore, in my opinion, the price / performance ratio is no longer correct.

A star for the fish itself, it was ok. The bun pumped up with an oversized leaf of lettuce. € 7.50 for a sandwich filled with fish fillet is too expensive. The owner is also angry and unfriendly. New tourists come every day, you don't have to be customer-friendly. Not recommendable.

The smoked fish roll tasted good, but is sparingly topped and therefore far too expensive. The service or owner is impatient and unfriendly. You lose your appetite.

This ingenious little Fischstübchen🎣 is right on the beautiful Ammersee. Everything looks so beautiful, of course, that the appetite is stimulated by just watching and if you like fish you will get your money's worth here. The portions are great too, and so is the price / performance ratio 👌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️The fisherman of the house is completely auithentic and gives the whole thing its flair.⛱ At weekends it can be quite crowded, but luckily everything goes very quickly here and you can e.g. enjoy the ingenious Bismarck herring bun on the beach🏖

Charismatic "colloquial" sandwich bar, rustical charm and friendly service, for a casual lunch is a cool spot to visit, fish is fresh and sandwiches "wholesome" ... bon appetit.

Very bad experience. First the fish (Bärlauch) sandwich was nothing to write about. Cold fish and bland. For 5,5 € better get a Mcdonalds fish sandwich. Too bad you get such poor quality in such location, even for imbiss standards. Staff was ok and helpful.. BUT there is a "crazy" lady there where at NO occasion you should touch the chairs outside the shop where she places the aluminium Speise/Getränke signs lean on. As there were no chairs available at the time (all occupied) but stools, I replaced one of the chairs with the stool, as the stools were quite uncomfortable. Another customer was actually sitting on this chair earlier, where the sign was leaning on. The sign was still very clear to see for all customers just instead of leaning on a chair, was leaning on the stool. She almost kicked us out of the place (we left ourselves after that horrible behavior) because of that (me 35 years old and my elderly parents). The customers were shocked with her. Nice treat to paying customers... NEVER again!
